Trick Shot VR was a test for myself for both speed and capability. Big picture, I wanted to get familiar with uploading an app onto Meta's Applab. For the unfamiliar, Quest headsets run on Android, and there are a lot of prerequisites Meta sets for apps to even make it on their marketplace. The other side of the coin was that I wanted to see if I could build a simple VR game in a months time. With both of these goals in mind, I booted up Unreal 4.27 and began concepting.
Ping Pong Ball - A challenging little cup. The bounces are the greatest per size of object, but also make it extremely hard to get in.
Basket Ball - We all know the game, but now instead of dunking it let's see how far we can throw it in!
Frisbee - A simple plastic disc that slices through the air. Hard to learn to throw, but satisfying to master.
SCREENSHOTS
